The area around Caslano is disseminated with panoramic paths between lake and mountains and the village is full of charming churches and ancient buildings. A short walk away from the house you will find the renowned trail around Monte Caslano, a pleasant walk on the shores of Lake Lugano characterised by a truly fascinating natural scenery. The Sassalto mountain dominates the village and it is a natural environment, protected by the Swiss Confederation on account of its interesting geological, faunal and botanical characteristic. Museum goers may visit the Fishing Museum, one of three in Switzerland, a camera exhibition of the Vincenzo Viccari Foundation and the Chocolate Museum, that gourmands of all ages will absolutely love. Sports lovers will also be pleased: in fact in Caslano and its surrounding area all kinds of sports may be practised; from tennis to golf, from horse-riding to swimming, from sailing to windsurf. In general Ticino is known for its natural beauty, its lakes, hiking trails, the Merlot wine produced in the south and the many cultural heritage sites spread across the region. Guests can drive to the property where 1 parking space is available free of charge.
